Excellent stay to explore Fassa valley skiing

Difficult to say what we liked most, but the kindness of the staff should be mentioned first, abundant breakfast, dinner gastronomy and a good wine selection (with very affordable prices). A very pleasant stay that calls to come again.

Brilliant hotel, excellent staff

2nd time staying here and felt like visiting old friends. Service was excellent. I was travelling with 2 young children and the staff went to exceptional lengths to look after us. Mario, Davide, Jacomo, Angela, Ana Maria and Alexandra - thank you. And the food was the best I have ever eaten.

Warm place

Everything was excellent. The location was very good. The rooms were cozy, very clean, and comfortable. The nice sauna is free. The breakfast was very good, with many items. The dinner, Italian and South Tyrolean, was very delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although we are Japanese, they always welcome us like family. When we stay in Dolomiti, we can't think of anywhere else but Park Hotel Mater Dei.

I recommend Park Hotel MATER DEI

For me, Park hotel MATER DEI is the best in Pozza di Fassa within the same star range! I will not try to convince anyone, but as proof — I have been a guest of the hotel since 2018. Pre-arrival Information and communication, Welcome/accommodation, Atmosphere (lobby, bar...), any kind of information during the stay, Wellness Center, Breakfast, Hotel Location, Room Style and Service, Staff Professionalism, Ski Services (Shuttle Bus, Ski Room), Internet Access. Animated parties every night — karaoke, Latin dance lessons, live singers, etc... What additional service you need — you have it! A hotel with its own style that you cannot find in other hotels in Pozza di Fassa, even with a higher star classification.

Excellent value for money and great food

The Park Hotel has perfectly clean and comfortable rooms. The food is very good and overall it is great value for money, even in the high seasons. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and facilities for skiing are perfect.

No remarks regarding the facilities and service! Just one proposal: if possible, let the ski-bus shuttle start with the afternoon pick-up at 2:00 pm.

A great place to stay

We stayed here with the family, 4 adults and two children (10&13 y.o.) and we had a great winter holiday in the beautiful surrounding of Pozza di Fassa. Park Hotel Mater Dei made us really feel like home. It is a medium size hotel with all the comfort you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s a very good breakfast with all sorts of foods. And the dinners were of a really high quality. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views of the beautiful dolomites. They offer a free taxi service to the skiing area and if you like there is entertainment in the evenings for children as well as for adults. The hotel offers a great value for money. Mater Dei is certainly a place to return to for more skiing holidays in the future.

Couldn’t be faulted

Excellent from booking to check out. Exceeded expectations. Comfortable bed, good shower, soft towels, balcony, fast and reliable Wi-fi. Great choice of food, both dinner and breakfast. Generous in all aspects, nothing felt mean. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Good model of how a hotel should be run. Brilliant value for money!
